The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation is a non-profit bicycle advocacy organization that works to improve the bicycling environment within Chicago and the greater metro area. Founded in 1985, CBF now has over 5,000 members and 40 employees. I interned in the membership and communications department during the summer of 2006.
